Proper procedures necessary for conservatory installations
Brits should ensure that they follow the correct procedures when improving their home, whether they are installing a bespoke conservatory or building a new glazed pool house.
Creating the home of your dreams can be a long and arduous task, but to finally complete it may leave homeowners with a feeling of satisfaction.
However, failure to follow planning procedures throughout the process could result in potential heartbreak and increased financial costs.
One person setting a good example is Yeovil resident Mr R Holbrow, who has submitted plans for a new conservatory to the local council, according to thisisthewestcountry.co.uk.
The Abbey Road resident will hear the results of his application soon, with Yeovil Town Council's planning and licensing committee set to discuss them today (March 15th).
He hopes to install a single-storey glazed extension at the rear of his home, which will include a shower room and conservatory.
One well-known Brit who failed to adhere to planning laws was Sir Cliff Richard, who was ordered to demolish an extension added to his house earlier this year.
