Conservatory is "cream of the crop" in Isle of Wight home

05 February 2010

A period house in the Isle of Wight has today (February 5th) been championed for the views offered by its bespoke conservatory.

The spacious property, which is located in Shanklin, includes four double bedrooms and an interior which affords it a "stylish French air", the Isle of Wight County Press reports.

However, the news provider reserves special praise for the rear of the house, which would allow the homeowner to sit in the "ultra-bright" conservatory and gaze out across the downs.

"Within a few minutes walk of the town and beach, the house is much more impressive looking at the back than the front," noted the report.

"A bright rear PVCu double-glazed conservatory, useable all year round, has been added and a front lean-to converted into a handy utility room."

The experience is further heightened by a rear veranda, attached to a terrace and set above the property's lawn, which features shrubs, rose beds and a brick-build workshop.

Anyone interested in purchasing the house - which dates back to 1910 - should note that the asking price is currently £375,000.
